These works are part of my ongoing Art Grooves series - an exploration of rhythm, movement and color inspired by the way music flows through art and time.
While creating, I often work while listening to music. The rhythm and atmosphere of the music help open the space where the artwork can begin to flow . The process is not about illustrating music- it's about discovering the groove of the artwork itself.
Whether working with colored pencils , paint, collage , cut outs ,each piece develops through the same exploration: searching for the moment where line, color and shape begin to move together naturally. When that balance appears, the artwork finds its rhythm - and also the place where it should stop.
Each piece piece is a one -of-a- kind original artwork.
These works are typically typically sold unframed, though can be arranged on request . Framing options will affect the final price depending on materials and frame selected .
